I went through the Irish exam system, the only *relevant* one to Tertiary Level progression is the Leaving Certificate Exams. I don't know what exactly I got, but I know what range of percentages I fit into.
My Results
English - B1 [80% - 84.99%]
Mathematics - B2 [75% - 79.99%]
Irish - A2 [85% - 89.99%]

Music - B2 [75% - 79.99%]
Physics - B2 [75% - 79.99%]
Chemistry - B3 [70% - 74.99%]

Yeah... I'm good at school... Sorry guys... I'm slightly autistic, so scientifically the parts of my brain dealing with memory and calculating/analyzing are larger than average at the expense of those dealing with social skills being smaller than average. So...

I got all A's and B's this past year. Our grading system is a bit different from most places. Our scale is:
A - 92.5-100%
B - 82.5-92.4
C - 72.5 -82.4
D - 62.5- 72.4
F - 0-62.4 / Midterms and Final Exams can't be lower than 55% unless you leave it blank or don't show. Then you get a 0
Ohio also has a set of standardized tests you have to pass before you graduate. There's 4 sections (reading, writing, math, science) and 3 passing ranks. I got highest rank on all of them.

How are you mixing GCSE grades with the old Sat assessments? Unless you started GCSE Science early?
I suggest you speak to your English teacher and find out when your starting GCSE :O Unless you've already finished for the summer.
I only ever had A*'s on my three GCSE science ISA's :P (That's basically a practical experiment, followed by an internal exam based on the results.)
I'm waiting for my GCSE Biology results, I did triple :P Physics and Chemistry are a C at the lowest, I can't recall from memory. English was an B in language and C in literature.
I'm waiting to start Sixth form in September :) I'm definitely in, because I already have 5 GCSE's

Our grading system is numeric. From 1 (the lowest) to 5 (the best). Only for primary and high schools:
Insufficient (1) corresponds to American F
Sufficient (2) corresponds to American D and C
Good (3) corresponds to American C and B grades
Very good (4) corresponds to American B+ and A- grades
Excellent (5) corresponds to American A and A+ grades
And this year i got all A's x)

Kind of late but in las Vegas aka the states we have;
Elementary school - grades k-5
Middle school - grades 6-8
High school - grades 9-12
In high school it goes freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors. To graduate u have to pass the state wide test; math, science, reading, and writing. Ech school year it's divided into 2 semesters with 2 quarters in each semester. Q1 and Q2 average to get mid semester or term grade. And same for Q3 and Q4 for a final grade.
Grading system:
A 90-100
B 80-89
C 70-79
D 60-69
F 59 and below
Senior year semester 2:
Algebra 2: B
English 4: C
Publications: A
Student aide: A
US government: B
I got rid of science so I could get 5 classes instead of 6. Hopefully everyone understands the american system or at least where I come from a silmilar system.
