Facebook taking over Instagram?

I know this is news from a few weeks back, but does anyone have any opinions or debates on this? I honestly think it's going to make facebook more unpopular. they should have stayed in their own internet bubble. I liked Instagram, and use it to get away from FB. The recent update late last week was terrible, I don't even know how many followers I have! all it says is "16k" which means 16,000. don't know the exact amount. And it's harder to use and it's like changing a tradition. Anyoen else have opinions?

They aren't "taking eachother over". There is just an option to share your posts there, as there is with tumblr, twitter and some other apps like foursquare and the "check-in" app. If you don't like that, just disable the sharing option...

They probably won't change anything. They just wanted the extra stock and money that Instagram makes. All it is, is a good financial move.
