girls get a lot of flak for sending pics in bra/panties, from the girls that do in bikinis. but thats okay, the world runs on hypocrism

I have no idea. The only reason I can think of is that, psychologically, if you are seem wearing something that is supposed to be under clothes, it is provocative. If it is meant for swimming, then it is okay? Similarly, my friend did not want to show his boxers (we were on chat roulette) however a week later he was swimming and not only did he have swim trunks on (the equivalent) he wasn't wearing a shirt which is worse. Confuses me so much.

I don't understand it either. You would think they'd be fine with bein seen in underwear considering it covers more than most bikinis

Well I'm not one of the girls that freaks out if anyone sees me in my panties, but I think it's the fact that when they go out in a bikini they are ready for people to see them and expect it whereas if they are seen in underwear they have usually been caught offguard and didn't expect it.
