Hey, i'm new to this forum, but a question, if i say watch pornographic material, especially on the quicktime players, can this make my computer get virus's, or infected with spyware or something

YES!!! that is a very likely, if you dont have good security your computer can get pretty screwd up from that.

yes there is a high probability you will get one. i never liked quicktime, don't go to any unknown sites especially the freebies ones. my friend kevy got that virus and he can't get rid of it even with Avast

Yeah you can. My dad installed Spysweaper on my computer because my last one got some virus that my dad couldn't get out. So probably best to keep the computer safe!

Yes, if you are running windows, those files can be loaded with viruses and spyware. I would recommend having some sort of virus, and spyware protection software installed. Also, If you download something, make sure you scan the file before opening it.

yer i dont download them, its just always with the quicktimes, there are always pop up when playing videos. i try and steer clear of them though, thanx for the advice

the only time i download movies is from bearshare, i NEVER download from websites. i only watch streamed videos of free sample vids

I actually got a virus from an undisclosed site...be careful. That is how i got caught. usually it'll say that you have a virus and in order to get rid of it to click on a link....DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK
