Hey Guys,
Did you ever have a doctor check you for body hair? At my last physical, the doctor warned me that it would be more thorough because he wanted to make sure my changes were beginning to wrap up, so he made me sit in boxers and examined literally every inch of me. Then he had me lay down with my hands behind my back and looked at my armpit hair, touched it a little to check for thickness, then when I pulled my pants down, he noticed that I shaved my pubic region. He just said that lots of guys do that. Then he moved up to my chest and was assessing how much chest hair I had now, and how much he thought I was going to get. He asked me if I was able to ejaculate, and if I was sexually active. Has anyone ever gone through anything like this before? What did they say about your armpit/body hair? I'm kind of embarassed by body hair, so it was really hard for me to sit there while he basically was only looking at/for that.

They dont check body hair. Thats a little odd that he touched every inch. Asking if you are sexually active is normal to make sure youre not at risk for anything.

While they don't usually bother checking body hair as thoroughly as you describe they did, everything else he did seems perfectly normal to me.

That seems a little out there, as in checking body hair growth. Don't worry though, your're not the only one who's uncomfortable with body hair! ;)

I had a doctor check my body hair once, but that was because I was 13 and already had a lot of chest hair so I guess he was just making sure everything was alright.

my physicals are like that pretty much. my pediatrician has me lie back naked on the table and he goes over every inch of my body looking for stuff. i guess he's checking hai growth too

No, and I can't see why that would be necessary.

Sounds odd. My doctor checks me for like a minute and thats it...
