Well, Firefox IMO.Some say Chrome is faster, but idk...I've tried it, and it just wasn't for me, so I'm still on Firefox.

But i recommend Opera, for 20+ tabs, and so on, works better than Firefox does, with lots of tabs.But it's not as fast as Firefox, it can mess up with YT videos (not sure if they fixed it), and keeps trying to update (portable version), even tho i unchecked update option...

Chrome. In my opinion, it seems more organized when it comes to extensions. It also has apps. Also, I just find it faster than all the other browsers.

Chrome is more simplistic, less cluttered, and faster. It has a good amount of apps/extensions that are very handy. I prefer it to Firefox, mainly due to Firefox taking 100 years to start on my computer.

Chrome every time for me. So simple, does everything I want it too and I find it it so much quicker.

Never IE.

RockMelt is Chrome with a few extensions built into it. Sadly, RockMelt is annoying as shit and looks like shit.

im using chrome. firefox only seems to be useful since the download speeds tend to be faster than on chrome. I tried downloading Virtualbox on chrome and it took 900KB/s, whereas firefox went to my ISP cap of 1.6MB/s. but chrome seems to be faster at browsing, and takes less time to start up.

Why don't you use JDownloader, for downloading stuff?It's a lot better than any browser.

Anyway, i agree that IE sucks.

I personally prefer chrome. It seems faster and cleaner and just all around better. In all honesty though, everyone has their own personal preferences. I would suggest trying both out for a little while and judge for yourself which one you like.

Chrome logs your activity a lot more and for a lot longer than Firefox, other than that it's Interface preference. I choose Firefox for the reasons above.

I'm more of a Firefox guy. Chrome crashed on me earlier in the year, so I never went back to it.

I like Chrome just because it seems to open webpages faster for me whereas Firefox is more resilient to change and crashing etc...

Although Google did use to advertise that their Chrome browser never crashed, when it does and on the computer I get a pop up saying something along the lines of "Well this is embarrasing - google chrome has crashed , Restart now?"

But yeah just go with what you feel works better for you

Firefox is my personal favorite. I like the organization more as well as the easy ability to code things, like the ability to remove the bloody Facebook Ticker box through

" #pagelet_rhc_ticker {display: none !important;}
#pagelet_ticker {height: 0 !important;}
.tickerActivityStories {display: none !important;}
.fbFeedTicker {display: none !important;}
.fbFeedTickerStory {display: none !important;}
.ticker_container {display: none !important;}
.canvasTicker {display: none !important;}
#pagelet_ego_pane {position: static;} "

You can code to some extent in chrome. F11 on a windows pc. I like to manually remove adverts :) If they were annoying or slowed the page down. Chrome wins for me btw, although I fo dislike the options menu...

This exactly. I find Firefox too slow, and on my old computer, it was taking almost 2 GB of memory w/o extentions. not cool.

I did like Chrome because it was super fast and I just loved everything about it, until it started crashing every time I used it. It got to where I couldnt do anything because it became slow and crashed so much. I switched to Safari and I love it so far. I also goes super fast and everything.

I'm a Firefox person. There was a release not long ago with a bad memory leak and it would use up 4 gigs of ram with one page open but it looks like its fixed now.

I used to use Firefox until I found Chrome. Now I use Chrome all the time. Even the app on my iPhone

Between the two, I prefer Chrome. But if Flock was never shut down, I would be using Flock to this day. The damn best browser I have ever used. So organized, very simple, unique. Once shut down, Chrome picked up on it's "account" attributes but I still much prefer Flock. Just hope they re-open their browser soon.

Chrome, because of the easy accessibility to incognito mode :P Also faster for me, less cluttered, and just nicer looking IMO. Don't really care about the apps. Plus the new iPhone and iPad app just came out, which makes another reason to use it, since you get easy access to already open tabs, on all devices :P

When I had Chrome, it was always extremely slow, and I never got the time to download FireFox, so Opera all the way.

I liked chrome better than firefox because firefox, for some reason, keeps crashing on me at random times. Also, chrome just has a more simpler look to it.

Both have their perks, but also have their problems.

Myself, I use a mixture of Chrome and Firefox but I prefer Chrome for its "apps" (Speed dial is the best Chrome app)

Chrome uses multiple processes, so Chrome is superior if your computer has good RAM and CPU, if you have a shitty computer i'd say Firefox is better since it's easier on your PC.

I prefer Firefox over Chrome, as I like the style a lot. Google Chrome might have a few apps, but with Windows 8 and of course the Mac App Store, you don't really need it. Firefox has great page load times and download speeds. Plus it is made by Mozilla (Non-Profit) so you don't need to worry about them using it to track you.
