Technically it's unlawful to even have sex under the age of 16 period. Anyways, ignoring that fact, you shouldn't be having sex when your fucking 14 and she certainly shouldn't be having sex when she's 12. You all don't want to have sex, she doesn't know what sex is, and I highly doubt she nor you are ready to deal with any potential pregnancies or STDs. This is a bad idea.

From the sounds of it, you don't even know her that well. I know having sex at 14 these days is not rare (even though many will consider it to be too young) but 12? Come on.....she is far too young, probably hasn't even gotten her period yet.

Actually, that is a gray area. I wouldnt recommend doing it at all, but the thing is:

1) if she's within 2 years of you, her family doesn't have grounds to sue you on grounds of statuatory. So you wouldn't be getting sued by her family as long as it's ABSOLUTELY CONCSENSUAL.

2) the people above are right though, it's illegal for BOTH OF YOU if it's under 16. Now, this is technically illegal, but the police won't investigate it if no one reports it. It's more of a preventative law, and sort of up to the individual.

The age of consent is new jersey is 16, but it's legal to have sex with someone as long as they are over 13 and no more than 4 years younger than you. If your had sex with her now, it would be illegal, but once she is 13, it would be legal. You're still way too young to be having sex. Wait a few years.

Well evan if your 16 (or the age on consent in nj) and she is 15 if her parents find out and press charges you become a sex offender and then you can't go any where but to juvie or jail
