As part of my job I tend to do a hell of a lot of travelling for an 18 year old. I regularly travel in First or Business Class and have visited every continent and have circumnavigated the world twice. I thought I'd give my thoughts on each place I visit starting with my most recent to Dubai. I have also attached pictures!
Dubai is the second largest Emirate and is a cosmopolitan mix of first and third worlds. Chauffeurs and beggars, the stubbornly traditional and proudly avant-guarde.
But somehow, in the big mix of things, between the ‘Burj Khalifa’ and ‘Atlantis’ it all hangs together. Not to mention the heat is immense, Factor 50 every day! I would certainly recommend a trip to Ski Dubai within the Mall of the Emirates while you are here and on the subject of that a desert safari and scuba diving are my all two favourites!
The city or cities have many opportunities from Banking and Oil to Business and E-Commerce. It’s a 24 hour city – literally construction in Dubai does not stop ever. In one blink of an eye you’ve let the whole world whizz past you. It’s a city that exhilerates and intimidates, stimulates and irritates.
To feel the full benefit you really need to venture up to the top of the ‘Burj Khalifa’ which at 162 floors it truly is an awe-inspiring, knee buckling experience and home to the one and only Armani hotel.
The atmosphere itself is something to behold. A trip to the nearest emirate and largest emirate to Dubai, Abu Dhabi is only 90 minutes away and houses the president of the emirates and one of the largest oil capitals of the world. For all you women and ladies out there (and guys) Dubai is host to the Largest Mall In The World - The Dubai Mall
I do recommend you spend as much time as possible in Dubai, it’s a beautiful, amazing city.
It's a city of grand proportions and only second to one! My other love - New York <3
My next update will be when I am flying back home to New Zealand via Cairns, Australia for my annual diving holiday :) Flying First with Qantas and Business Premier with Air New Zealand.
