Well i'm sorry if this topic has already has come up or its too much of a personal question.:wub:

But i was just wondering if you could share with me and the rest of VT the age that you were when you lost your viginity and if you haven't the age your mates have or wheather or not you belive in sex before marrige or not.

I'll start: Well im a Virgin :P I'm 14 and if im brutally honest i've never even got close! :( However I do belive it is perfectly fine to have sex before marrige.

I recently found out that one of my closest mates lost their virginity when they were just 13 (i'm 100% sure that they are not lying BTW)

I don't think it's right to have sex before marriage, or even before adulthood. Sex during puberty doesn't seem right to me.

my decision not to have sex until marriage (unless temptation gets the better of me) is based on my religous beliefs which is not a "fairly small role in this area of life" for me and i would suggest anyone who has similar religous beliefs. and to imply that these beliefs are imposed on me i find insulting. :mad:

i take your point however i still stand by what i have said. i don't feel like i have been imposed, i feel like i have been given guidelines to live my life and i agree with them and that includes the sex before marriage issue.

Well I think any reasonable person wouldn't doubt that. It's coming to your own decision, which is what a fair amount of people do and what was Carole was encouraging - deciding on your own.
