Coming Out..Advice?

Okay I've known I was gay for awhile, but I've never had the courage to come out...at least until now. I really want to tell my mom, then dad, then expand out from there. I have some close childhood friends I'll have to tell, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Anyway, my question is this: how should I tell my mom? Is there a 'best' time to do it? I have lots of evidence if she pulls the Jesus card. Thanks so much:)
