I dont exactly know where to put this....

My neighbor asked if I could teach her granddaughter how to swim and I said sure. Now I've been swimming for almost 10 years and when I tried to think of some different activites with her I came to a blank. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what I could do to teach her to swim. She already knows how to float and keep her face in the water so it would just be some elementary things. Thanks!

To start off, have her dunk 10 times up and down. That should be done at the beginning of practice to warm her up.
- Butterfly Stroke
- Have her do some laps. That's always good. And time them so that you can help her imrpove every time.
- If the pool is deep enough and safe, and has a diving board, teach her how to dive.
- Red light, Green light ( alittle fun, just like the outside version).
- I'm also having a brain blockage! Hope I helped!

Try what my sister did for junior lifeguards like 10 years back.
-Float with just arms.
-Float with arms and legs.
