If a teenager is 16 and another is 16 and they're in a sexual relationship, then TECHNICALLY is that considered paedophilia? Since they're under the age of eighteen?

Or, say a 17 year old girl gave a 16 year old boy fellatio, is the girl technically supposed considered a paedophile?

Trying to separate the rights from the wrongs in this area is difficult. Imagine those cartoons of fathers at the tables with papers all around them and their hands furiously smashing the calculator, in an attempt at doing taxes. Every state has their own Legal age of consent. And on top of that, there's a three-year thing. Let's take Washington for example, where the legal age of consent is 16. A female that is just of-age in Washington will be able to have sexual relations with anyone three years older or younger then them. Wander outside of this zone and it will be counted as Statutory rape. So, a 21 year old guy can't have sex with the 16 year old girl, even though she is of age. Similarly, she can choose to have sex with a 13 year old boy without it being considered rape. Google it.

Depends on country/state/laws.

In Scotland and England and other areas of the UK it is 16.

In some other countries its 18. Would it be considered a sex offenders crime well only if the personal was older year wise. I think it is a fine line to walk across I mean 17 having sex with a 16 would technically if following law could me that a sexual offense has been caused. However I am not 110% sure to be honest.

I don't know how a judge or police would view the matter. However if a 17y old has sex with a 16 yold and the age to have sex legally was 18 then both people would probably get off with no charge, however the oldest might get in trouble.

Again I ain't sure what a judge would do or how strictly the law would re-act to this.

No, because you are both under 18, although if you were three or more years apart, at least in Australia, and you had sex it'd be statutory rape

im pretty sure a paedophile is an adult who has the desire to have sex with a minor, if they are both the same age then no thats no paedophilia. plus 16 is the legal age
