Hey all, here's a fun little game to compare password strengths.
Here's how it goes:

Step One: Click here (http://howsecureismypassword.net/) and input your password in the text field

Step Two: Take a screenshot of the logo, textbox, and time to crack (example below)

Step Three: Reply with your picture and what you think about it!

Have fun :)

I have one that would take 36 billion years and one that would take 6 hours. Time to change it up. XP

EDIT: I just changed it. Now it's 143 million years. Yay - safeness!

EDIT 2: I'm changing it again so it's 102 sextillion years. I'm on a roll.

If I were you I would just transition everything over to the third password. It would essentially make it impossible to crack.

One of my passwords is ten days, the other 11 minutes.

However, unless you were tracking my keystrokes or using some sort of technology, no one would ever be able to guess mine. My own mother can't even guess my password and it's based off of my original computer password when I was like four that SHE made.

So I'm quite happy with mine. Can't remember them usually for shit.

Almost all my passwords are the same but have some different characters for security reasons.
The site says it would take 2 trillion years to crack my password. That is pretty good considering I made that password on a dare from a friend.

no it wouldn't, it'd depend on what hash you're using to encrypt the password with, not what the password is.

This occured to me: Is it really safe to tell this website a password you use? It could theoretically just add them to a giant password database for a virus to access. I for one shall not be using this again.

The website doesn't ever log the password, it is never submitted to the site. For example you don't type it in and then hit submit to get your result, the page updates as you type which in turn means no sensitive information is being transferred to the server.
