It doesn't seem that she would be cast for the role however the same thing was said about Heath Ledger when he played The Joker in The Dark Knight.

I'm looking really forward to it. I think that Nolan did a great job on the first two movie, especially doing something that has been done dozens of times before. I'm actually going to the midnight release. The movie theater in my town is also holding a marathon of all 3 movies. Might or might not be going.

I was going to go in a couple of weeks when the crowds thinned out. Now after what happened in Colorado, I just don't know.

And my mom will freak out when she finds out; she's already over-protective anyways. :(

Saw the marathon last night. Fuckin' movie of the year all years. I also believe there will be more Batman related films in the near future. Not to spoil the end for anyone, but there is a VERY special character who will most likely be the protagonist for the next Batman related movie.

I have to say, the story was very Orwellian in mood and it definitely felt like a "do or die" type of movie. I might see it again.

Yeah, Bruce Wayne. Warner is already rebooting the series for the Justice League movie in the vein of The Avengers. Christopher Nolan is done with Batman, he's made that very clear.

I actually didn't know anything about a series for the Justice League. I was actually talking about the character Blake's real name, which actually was leading me to believe he would have his own spinoff.

Just saw the film today and thought it was a brilliant film. Probably not as good as the previous one as it was difficult to go one better than that. Possibly thinking about seeing it again sometime.

Spinoff is questionable. Nolan has stated he wants NOTHING to do with that character which is why I'm assuming he revealed his identity at the last minute of his final film. If they DO do a spinoff which I still find unlikely they'd need to find a new director, most likely production team, etc. I'd say the only hope for his character at this point in time is a cameo in the Justice League movie if it ever gets the green light, or of course when they decide to reboot Batman with ANOTHER film in let's say... 15 years.

Try three at the most. Warner is already talking about rebooting the series.

Omigosh, the special character part... it was a total "HOLY CR*P" moment :P The whole move was amazing. Totally worth seeing, again and again and again and again.

I think this was the final movie in the Nolan era of Batman. They'll probably make a new series in 5-6 years time with different actors, producers etc.

I was very excited to go see it, and it was fun and all but I thought it came up short compared to the last two movies. There were lots of plot holes and silliness and I am pretty picky with that stuff >.< Bane as a villain was cool though.

Personally, I thought it was kinda lame. Ive never really been a DC fan, but Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight were cool, but TDKR was kinda difficult to watch.
