So I have yet another best friend leaving my school because moving far away. Like for the longest time I have been super sad, and I would try to accept it, but I just simply can't. I try not thing about it, but I can't. I would hang out with him and we would have the best times, and then when he's gone, I wish I could be hanging out with him. But the point is he's going to a better place and he needs a new start, and I'm happy for him, but I can't accept him leaving, like it's harder this time than my other best friends whom left. Usually people accept this really fast, but I don't think I'll ever accept it because he's been my first true best guy friend.

You're not alone. This happened to me. A few years ago, around Memorial Day in America, my best guy friend who lived across the street left to move to another part of the country. I felt like I would have no life. but I got past it. i looked to my other friends for help and became very close with them. You just learn to pick up new hobbies that you can occupy yourself with and then you'll forge all about your friend. You can always talk on Social networking sites, and Skype, but you have to look towards the future. your friend would want you to have a succesful life, and keep on strolling.

Same here brother. My best friend left for america 2 years ago. he comes once a year (coming in two weeks yay!). It was the first time I was depressed. it's not a good feeling. I was just depressed until I realised that me moping around wouldn't bring him back.

Thanks for the help, but I'm long gone from that now. We don't even talk a whole lot anymore.
