ok well i hear bra sizes like C, B, A, and all these numbers
what does it al mean!!!???:confused:
i mean like is 'A' the best like in school
cause ive heard like D is big and you can have like 'full' and 'double'
so much jargon!
can any girls clear the whole bra size situation up for me?

But DD is the biggest and AA is the smallest and in between them you have A B C and D
The number is the number of inches around the bust...
And the letter is the size of the cup
My friend explained this to me once, don't ask why...

Right. So if the bra size is 34C, then around the bust is 38 inches, and under the breasts (underbust) measurement is 34. The cup size is determined by the difference between these two measurements.

Yeah. Anything above DD has to be specially fitted.

its not that complaicated when its been explained most lads havent got a clue so dont worry bout. The others hae explained it well. I think about a 34 C is the avenrage size.

By the way DD IS NOT THE LARGEST. They DO go all the way to a Z cup (I'm really serious). I'm just afraid to meet anyone who is!

if you wanna know your breast size tun a tape measure snugly around your rib cage just under you breasts. then add five " to your rib cage measurment then round up to the nearest even number. then measure across the fullest part of your breasts now subtract the rib cage measurement from this number the difference is you cup measurement 1" difference is A 2" difference is B and so on! then you put your rib cage measurement with your cup size such as 34(ribcage measurement)A(cup size) gives you 34A

Most bra manufacturers use the same cup volume for bras which are related by an increase in cup size and a decrease in band size. For instance, the cup volume is the same for 30D, 32C, 34B, 36A, etc.


So if one combo doesn't fit properly try the next cup up with a smaller band or the other way around.

acually, lets just say 32B is too small for me i would try a 34B or a 36B
changing cup sizes means you've grown a lot sinse buying your last bra.

oh and C is pretty big ( i mean not huge but more than a handfull)

This is sizing by the measurement. If you want to try a cup that you didn't measure for go ahead. 30D is the same as 32C and 34B; it just fits a bit differently. This is assuming the manufacturer is making their bras properly.
