Cutting stretch marks

My name is stormy and i self harm. I cut my thighs because they are easiest to cover up and they are the most disgusting part of my body. I have stretch marks all over my legs that are white. My question is, sometimes I find it difficult to cut where the stretch marks are. Is this normal? Also, is it more or less dangerous to cut areas where I have stretch marks?

Stretch marks don't make a difference - It is as dangerous to cut in an area with stretch marks as it is without them.

Stretch marks will be harder to cut as they are a form of scarred tissue
Meaning they will also scar alot worse
