Feeling like you have to be perfect, when you know you can't? and feeling so down about it you have no energy? Like you think your parents expect so much of you, everyone thinks so much of you, when they only know half your life? Knowing that you do so much sin, yet not being able to stop it, and feeling so overwhelmed by this that you just can't take it, but you hide it in public so no one else can see it!? Feeling like you just want life to be over already so you can get to the good part? (I don't even want to consider suicide, of course, but...)

Hey, I don't think think it is depression, you are just having some regret we can say because you are not able to do what you want. You should have faith. Don't let get over by these feelings, or else you will be affected by it and you will fall in depression. Be strong friend...We are all here to support you...

Hmm I don't believe you to be depressed, I think you're just overwhelmed by pressure- pressure to succeed, meet others' expectations, be perfect in general. Everyone is pressured to a point, and we all deal with it at some point or another.

No, it is not depression. We all get stressed at some point in life and have tons of pressure to do well. I've felt the same way and usually with time it just passes. Just try to relax as much as possible (easier said than done I know but try to do something that makes you happy or treat/reward yourself with something).

Depression isn't a passing of a temporary sadness and stress like what your situation is. People with a depression can't just pull themselves together and get better. It requires treatment and medication; which isn't necessary in your case - you're just stressed.

Sounds more like stress is being put on you by your parent's expectations.
