So, the season finale was on this past Saturday. Now that Book 1 has concluded, any final thoughts, criticisms, comments about it?

I personally loved A:TLA for it's characters rather then the plot. Toph, Iroh, Zuko were my favorites, though the rest of the cast was excellently fleshed out and easy to become overly attached to. Yes, I cried when Suki wasn't able to jump from that airship.

With The Legend of Korra, I felt that I loved it for the plot rather then the characters. With a few exceptions, Lin Beifong, Tarrlok, The Airbending Kids, and Asami, the rest of the characters were quite bland to me. They were fleshed out and all, but there was nothing there that drew me to them in the same way that the past characters did.

Tarrlok, Noahtak boat scene was most beautiful cartoon moment I have ever seen, with the close second being Zuko/Iroh reuniting.

Is this gonna be coming to Britain at all? I really wanna watch it on TV rather than online :/

I loved the boat scene with Tarrlock and Noatak. It was so sad though. It was really one of the saddest scenes in the history of cartoon (however in ATLA, when Iroh was singing to his dead son was even better than that)

sigh, I watched all the episodes on Nick.com except the season finale. I am waiting for that one to come out on Nick.com so I could watch it (since my TV doesn't have the Nick channel).

I have to say, I was reluctant at first to watch it when my older brother told me about it (I knew of it beforehand but he reminded me that there was a new series out), but when I did watch the first one, I got really into it.

it's really good, though it's kinda sad that Katara's the only one left of the original Team Avatar...

I love this show!! When it turned out that Amon was a water bender... that was such a slap in the face hahaha. I'm really satisfied with this season, and I can't wait for the next one!

I also loved the plot of The Legend Of Korra. My favorite scene was probably when Korra suddenly airbended, it was so... epic xD

that new episode isn't the full one, it's only half (Endgame hasn't finished yet), I just finished watching and I know there's more -_- guess I have to wait another week?

I downloaded all episodes. I really like them, I do prefer A:TLA.
Hoping season 2 will air soon, I doubt it will tho.

So, I just finished watching the finale. OMG! Idk what was my favorite part. Literally, this series is pretty epic. I have no idea how they will ever top the first series but so far, I love the this current series. The end of the finale just blew my mind. Amon lying to everyone. EPIC CRAZY! All in all, this book was really good.

Haven't had the time to watch the season I recorded but the first episode I watched gave me the feeling from when I was a kid watching Avatar. I love cartoons like Avatar so I do like LOK. Just need more time to finish the season.

I loved Avatar the Last Airbender! Sadly, I only watched like, 4 episodes of the legend of Korra. I really wanna see the whole thing, guess I'll catch book 2:eek:

But from those 4 episodes I saw, I loved it! It's such an awesome show! I remember when I was little I always watched the previous version. I went though the whole series 2-3 times haha (avatar the last Airbender)

Watch LoK on nick.com. They have all the episodes (I believe) on their to watch for free.

tarlok and amon were definitely my favourite characters. and yes that boat scene was the cherry on top, so amazing. though i also really enjoyed bolin.
