Although I just joined I have came across something I really wanted to speak about to those who don't know me too well.

I am nearly fifteen and haven't had a 'serious' relationship for my age...Not that I am unable to find someone who interest me its that I dont think my family supports it (1) and to be quite honest, I dont know if I'm ready. I dont have any type of desire to be in a relationship with a girl...thoughts?

Dude, just go at your own pace. If your not ready, your not ready. You're young, so you got your whole life to relationships. And honestly I think the older you are in teen years, the better the relationship you will get to experience. But that's just how I think. And don't be peer pressure to be in one, because then it won't be what you wanted. So just go at your own pace.

Thanks man, means a lot, didn't exactly know what to do anymore. My peers, and even close friends make it seem as if being in a relationship was how to live life at my age.

People are growing up way too soon getting into mature and even sexual relationships far too young. Until you find someone that you care about and can imagine yourself having a future or at least trust each other enough then that's all you can do. It shouldn't matter how old you are but 15 still seems way too young to be in having that much of a commitment, the age of consent is 16 anyway. You're absolutely fine not being in one, there's nothing wrong with and dating shouldn't rule your life when you're a teen although in this day and age it's made out to be more important at a younger age than it should.

Yeah man, don't let your friends pressure ya. I'm 17 and and haven't had a serious relationship yet. I could care less about one right now. Hell, most people around our ages don't even have "serious" relationships... they all seem to break-up within a week of them going out. Trust me, you can have way more fun being single at this age anyway ;D
