What ages are appropriate, what do you think are suitable age combos in relationships? I'm 18 what ages downward would be appropriate?

Anyone that isn't considered a minor below the age of consent, 16 and over. That's what I think. 15 just sounds a little too young for an 18 year old.

Yeah I think 16 is as young as an 18 year old should go

I think it all depends on the physical, emotional and mental development of the individual. If you are both adult-looking, and the person you're in a relationship is mature enough for you two to be in a mutually respectful relationship, then I don't think there should be a hard-and-fast age.

Two words: statutory rape -- when an adult (someone of age 18+) engages in sexual activity with someone younger than the age of consent (16 in most states).
So with that being said, no younger than 16...unless you're not planning to get intimate.

As your 18, and from the UK, 16 is the minimum age of consent for a relationship. But even if you were not 18, I would still say 2 years either way is acceptable.

generally speaking i'm going to say 16 but there are always exceptions to this. I'm 15 and my bf is way older than 18 but my parents are ok with this. The problems occur when guys date younger girls and parents don't approve of the relationship. Another is what kind of relationship it is and it's not statutory rape if there isn't any sex invoved in the relationship.

16. In my state, younger would be a crime.

at this point in life 16 maybe 15... once you both are over or around 18 doesnt really matter the age difference.

this is why I asked I wondered if anyone would feel the same way it's so annoying that people marry people with an age different that's more than me going out with even a one year old and yet so many people would be angry if I were to go out with someone 3-6 years younger than me
