I am trying to tidy up my blog by deleting an accidental duplicate post (an entry entitled: "Irrespective of weather") anyway, I get the following message:

Gandalf, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Could somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I believe blog entries can only be deleted by Staff.

I seem to be able to delete mine, but some of my permissions have been wrong since I left being a mod. So it might be that.

I can soft delete my blog posts too, Charlie. I don't know what the problem could be.
