Hey all, I've spent the morning making my XP installation look like like Mac OS X, and I've decided I really like the inference and wondered if it is possible to install Mac on my laptop. The tech specs can be found here (clicky) (http://www.acernotebooks.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_5101AWLMi_LX.AX90X.017/version-1.asp#top) if needed. Thanks!

Edit: After some reasearch done I want to add that I don't want some "Virtual" installation, I want a proper insallation that can be used as normal, if possible!

there is something called OSx86. its a patched version of mac osx made to run on your PC. the name comes from osx, and x86 PCs. you can do one of two things:
buy a copy of mac osx, rip the install dvd, download the patcher from the internet, and patch your DVDs.

or illegally download the patched DVD off the internet. i strongly advise you not to do this, because it is copyright infringement.

osx86 runs perfect on some PCs, and not so well on others. google it and do some research. it sounds complicated, but if you need help, just ask me. shoot me a PM if you want to chat over AIM.

I've seen mac installed on windows based PCs before, but I think it's really complicated, and have no idea how to do it. Or, you could always get a new mac and install windows on it. :]

Lol :D

Like as has been said, you can put Mac on a pc but it's bloody compicated, and noramlly pretty shit once it's on there. Or you could save up £300 and buy a second hand mac form eBay :D

I've got Mac OS X installed and running on my HP laptop, check out this site here:

You'll need to get a Mac OS DVD, or "download one" if you know what I mean...
