I was just wondering why it is pretty much basic human nature to want to rebel.....i mean you see it every where from the kid that talks while the teacher talks to in music such as rap everyone says ''dont use the 'N' word" and that makes the rap artists say it to the man who says "enough of the current ruler!" and starts a literal rebellion that kills thousands?

Funny, my brother's giving a speech on this very topic in a couple of days.
I think some of the rebellion is just immaturity (like using "the N word" in rap.) Most rebellion is, in my opinion, just challenging corruption or wanting things to be easier for you. The kid who talks while the teacher is talking usually started before the teacher, and just wants to finish what they were saying. It's not a big deal. And challenging corruption is a huge theme in the punk movement: most are staunchly anti-racism, anti-violence (except for moshing :P) and are honestly trying to create a more equal and free society.
That's just my opinion anyways.

If you feel oppressed, you rebel. No one gets away with treating me unfairly, I'm too smart for that. Think of Syria.

I guess people want to openly express about their feelings, and one of them is being rebels at time. But it's also how you view it too, but mainly people want attention.

I see rebellion as a subconscious form of evolution, someone trying to start their own, new form of traits that may survive longer than others. I mean if you think of it, nothing new would ever be started if we never rebelled, or did something different or tried something different.

Rebelliousness (is that a word?) is usually passed down from family member to family member in my experience. There obviously had to be a rebellious spark somewhere down the line and then it was simply passed down as a rebellious streak.
