Journey through puberty Question

When I was 15 my mate Alex (my best mate at school, we told each other we were gay before we told anyone else) told me that since his 14th bday he had taken a pic of himself naked on each bday to chart his development into adulthood. I thought it was a good idea so started doing the same every year.

We never showed each other our pics, and the point of it was to kind of record our journey through puberty, rather than a sexual thing. When we were 17/18 we drifted apart but recently have become quite close again, aged 19. Yesterday he asked me if I wanted to show each other our pics, for the first time?

I don't know how I feel about this. On the one hand they're quite personal images, but on the other I think going through puberty is something to be celebrated. Any thoughts?

It's really up to you and what you're comfortable with. If you're not comfortable with it then you do not have to do it and if he is a real friend he won't mind if you say no. I would say yes as I would be curious to see how other people developed through puberty and it's a really good idea. Wish I had that idea a couple of years ago. :P

about a year ago me n my m8 took pics of each other 4 a dare and looked at them on the PC and he deleted them, itwas fun to do no one else saw them

Just to update you that we did it, and shared pics which was great. was very interesting, so if anyone else is in the same position then i would recommend it :)

Should have added, it just goes to prove how everyone develops differently and at different rates. He had body hair evenly distributed through puberty whereas i had a bush but little else til about 17, when i had a big spurt

Maybe from 13-18 you really look different but not that much from 13 to 14.

Personally I simply don't care. I long to be young again to go through puberty again so I can watch the changes all over. But since this isn't back to the Future, there's nothing to be done about it now.

Well if you fell comfortable showing him them there really isnt two much a change from 13-14 but maybe 13 to another year

hey you were both comfortable to come out to each other and gay (not sure if you have fooled around and if you have then that would make it easier) but if you haven't i think it would be interesting and again if your comfortable do it man
