Help with asking a straight guy out?

Hello.
I have loved this guy for almost 2 years, he looked in my eyes like he loved me and he told me that he may will be gay in the future when we talked about it so I loved him ever since.
The problem is he is heartbreaker lmao and he is straight, his family is religious. Jehovah witness. The religion of his.
He would beat the cookies out of me if I asked him out.
Please help me or advice!

Um, I'm sorry man, but from what I'm understanding is that he is straight? So... I'm fairly sure that gay people don't ask straight people to go out with them because they're not mutually in to each other?

So I wouldn't recommend asking him out because he's straight lol...

Furthermore, I'd recommend pursing gay/bisexual guys in the future and not straight ones...

What did he mean by that? I don't get it. He may be gay in the future but he's straight now? O_O

Anyway, if he's definitely straight I don't think there's any point asking him, it could completely mess up your friendship. Until there is a sure sign that he might be into you or other guys then I don't think you should bother. Like said above, maybe next time pursue guys you know you might have a chance with (aka preferably gay/bi), sometimes you can't help who you fall for but in the end I think you know that you can't do much about it in this situation, unfortunately.
