I can't upload pics from other sites as avatar or profile pic?

So I've tried uploading pics from imgur to avatar and profile pic section. But it's not working. What site do I have to use to upload pics, preferably from iPad?

You can upload from any site that you can get a direct link to the image from. (So yes, Imgur /does/ in fact work)

This is what an Imgur link normally looks like: http://imgur.com/gallery/QR7iI
It's probably also the kind of link that you're trying to upload your avatar from, this simply won't work, as that's that's not a link to a picture, but to an actual webpage, which VT cannot use.

If you go over to the right of the picture, you should see the word "embed", click that, then copy the "Direct link" text. As it implies, this is a "direct link" to the image, and it will look something like this: http://i.imgur.com/QR7iI.jpg (Note the image extension (.jpg), it can also be .png, .bmp, etc).
THAT is the link you want to give VT when trying to upload your image from a site. The direct link, not the webpage link.


*Note: You'll probably have to do this from the webpage, and not the Imgur app (Assuming there is an Imgur app? O_o )
