Back at the start of June I got in a fight with my friend Kim. Now she's one of my very close friends so I don't want to lose her. I made fun of her sneeze and she didn't like it. So she went off at me like crazy. The next day I went to the counselors to sort things out and I did apologize and she accepted it. But then she went off telling people that I was starting crap with her. I wrote her an apology note explaining why i went to the counselors and she threw it on the floor, let other people read it, and called me a back stabber. So we haven't really talked since. So is it worth still trying to fix things? Or is there anything I could do to make things better?

I wouldn't even bother, obviously you were joking, and she's being a bitch. Don't bother, I wouldn't anyway, she's being childish.

She seems to have rage management issues..
Let her take some time and if she's that important to you just do one last try...If she still reacts that way...let her be and live your life!

It seems that she is pissed off at something that she shouldn't care about. If she's going to be so immature, she's not a good friend.

You said you were close before. Has anything like this happened before? I don't think it's worth giving up on a friendship just because of one event. Maybe try talking to her alone and she'll listen. It does seem very immature and you're handing it very well. Friends make fun of each other, light hearted banter is part of getting close to someone, if she can't take that then I don't know if she's worth it.
Do you have other friends that you know you can count on for being there?

Well already I see a problem with you making fun of her sneeze. Good friends don't make fun of their friends. And now if she is doing all that stuff to you, just go up to her and ask her what have you done to make her feel that way about you because you want to change. But if that doesn't work, then that means it's time to move on and find another good friend.
