Hi there,
I've got a friend whom I've known since 2004, and have felt quite close to with, specially a few years ago.
This last year has been great. I wasn't the guy who hang out much and I began to go out more with him and another friend (mutual, met him through my main friend), who has been in my class and grade this last year.
The thing is, my friend seems to have a relationship with a girl. That girl has been a classmate of mine for 4 years. As far I know, both would have the first relationship with this one.
No fault or problem in there, the thing is that they seem to hide it. Everyone says they're having a relation, but they don't say anything about and deny it.
My other friend liked that girl the last summer but sincerely, he didn't have any possibility and he desisted a while ago. The main friend was curious about them and asked every once in a while... Seems like the curiousity became something more; that back in february. Well, as usual, it's quite a show, and could tell much of a story... :what:
We both know a group of girls, who are quite... crazy... easy mouthed is one of their features. He used to go a lot with them.
He's got a job on the beach (the girl lives near his job) and he dissappeared the whole last Saturday. I did get to talk with the brother (at 10PM) and himself, he said he had "work all day". But he ain't working or resting tired at home at 11-12PM on saturday...
His birthday is next monday, 19 years (I'm 17). Quite a while ago he seemed put into celebrating it, nothing fancy but a barbecue with a few friends. His brother told me that he doesn't seem to want the celebration... :( The bro says that he should invite the girl, and doesn't seem to be very keen on it. According to the brother "he says he's got work that day... bad excuse" (we can perfectly celebrate it the sunday before).
I, as a friend, do support that relationship.
What is perplexing is that he is trying to hide a relationship. Something that has become quite big and obvious. Yet he will redirect the attention and try to hide it in a non-convincing way. I feel mistrusted by him.
Recently, I did want to ask or say something about it, but it's something I don't really want to get on and end doing something wrong.
...I am quite curious with this behiavor. So kids, esoteric things happen to the older teens and adults too... technically my friend is an adult.
