What should be a somewhat depressing day isn't

Well, as I said in a previous thread I liked this girl and since then we have gotten to talk quite a bit and becoming closer but then today some other guy asked her out and she said yes. The weird thing about the situation is that I don't feel angry or upset really at all, but I think it is because she is someone that I want the best for. She is a nice girl so seeing her happy makes me happy. Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you go about it?

Yes. Happened to me a few times, right before being friend zoned :P I just accepted it, if it's meant to be, than it will be. I was a little bit disappointed that I didn't take the opportunity to ask her out first but whatever :)
