This is something that I translated from Dutch myself, so there may be some grammatical errors.

The citizens in the Rijnwijk town in Arnhem(Netherlands) started removing the orange decorations from the town directly after the 11 Dutch players lost in the Euro2012 championship. The town -- during the championship -- was the most orange town in Arnhem.
Every family contributed €10 to encourage their town to help the Dutch team in this way. All the facdes were packed in with plastic coverings. Ladies in the town made a nameplate for each house in the form of a football(what the Americans know as "soccer") shirt.
Yeah, this was coming :P Well, the decorations will be on clearance for just a few eurocents, soon.
