What's the Seal on Sonic?

Ok, like, whats the deal on the drive through at Sonic? You pull up, order food, pull up, wait for food, pay for food, leave. What's the difference?

It's kind of nostalgic or old-time feel. Drive in restaurants were all fast food was back in the day, so it's just trying to keep something like that alive. I actually wish more places would do that, it's a cool thing to do. Also, the idea is to generally then sit in your car and eat it before you drive away.

I get the idea of Sonic, love to eat there, but now they got a place where you don't park and get your food, you order, then pull up to wait like the drive thru at McD's or something.
