It is pretty uncomfortable to sleep in a bra, especially the underwire ones. Thy dig into your skin and leave marks there. It's not good for the bra either; it wears out the elastic.

hate it however as i was growing up my dad would tell me to sleep with it on so my boobs stop growing( basically he didnt wanna put out money for biggers bras for me) i sleep shirtless with a sportsbra instead

The question wasn't posed to me, but I feel tempted to elaborate anyway:

Whenever I sleep over at a friend's house or whenever a friend sleeps over at mine, I wear a sweatshirt to bed and only take off my bra once I'm in bed. I'd rather avoid having anyone see me without a bra on.

It totally does, some of the info I've heard is scary - like most things that try change how the body naturally moves/does things there are often negative results
Easy for me to take that stance when I've got little boobs but still
I pretty much just use a sports bra too for athletic stuff
