A day before I get my period, for the past 2 and a half years I would get lower back pain so bad that it would make me stay in bed until the middle of my period. I would have to take vicodin which was prescribed to me just for this reason.
About 2 months ago, I got my period with back pain that hurt a lot less than it normally did. I took naproxen instead of vicodin and it killed off the pain.
Ever since then, I've barely gotten any back pain, nausea, and cramps. I get a little bit of back pain but taking naproxen kills it off.
I'm not complaining at all, but it's just weird because I didn't change anything to my daily routine to make it vanish.
My flow hasn't changed a bit. It's always been very heavy and I've used the same tampons and everything.
Is there anyone else around my age who has had their period drastically change in a small amount of time for no apparent reason? I'm 16.
