Sharing a bed with another guy.

My friends are going to Switzerland and italy next year and things is that there 4 of us we know were going to be sharing beds with each other. my thing is were a little worried about things happening during the night. so how do go about this?

i haven't had experience in this situation but i guess all i can say is, if you're friends and you don't mind sleeping in a bed together then i guess it will be fine. you haven't mentioned your guys sexualities so i'm guessing you're all straight or curious. if things happen then that's just how it is. nothing will happen if someone doesn't initiate it. that's just my opinion :) have fun over seas

ok, well still if you're all close friends and you don't mind the whole idea of sleeping with each other then it should be fine. i'm gay myself and i was in the same situation i would never initiate anything with my straight friends, so don't worry about him doing something to you in your sleep

it should be fine. i had to sleep in a bed with my mate after a hotel bed mix up and its totally fine. as long as your friends there shouldnt be anything to it.

Okay well, make sure you don't judge your ''gay'' friend too much. Some people, like David Walliams for example can come across very stereotypically gay, or camp as it is commonly known, yet they're very much straight. On the other hand, he may be gay and you should be fine with that. As he is your friend. :)

Many lads do share beds, especially when drunk. Its not really a big deal, I really doubt your ''believed to be gay'' friend will do anything. As a gay 15 year old, I wouldn't! Only if they wanted it, and I wouldn't be doing it with 2 other people in the room. Just chill out and don't make a big situation out of it :)

You may want to jokingly say ''Lets not get to close to each other! No cuddling either :D'' - But don't get too serious.

Honestly, if your friend is gay, he wouldn't try anything with you any more than if you were in the same situation with one of your girl friends.

Like some have said, set some rules if you dont want anything happening during the night. It gets awkward if you make it awkward, so dont talk about anything that might get you all horny or whatever. Im sure some of your friends are just as nervous, so dont sweat it.

ok, i am completely straight, and when we went on a field trip at the end of 8th grade, we shared beds. no big deal. and whenever i stay over at a friends, or a friend comes over, we share a bed. its nothing sexual.. just a bed. no different than sitting next to someone on a couch really, just layin down! and me and my buds are close enough we sleep in boxers in bed together, still nbd. just dont think of it any more than sleeping and youll be fine!!

I agree. I went on a class trip to Washington, DC and we all slept 2 to a bed. No problem and it was actually really fun. Just ease up and go with it. My friends also share a bed when we have sleepovers. It is a great time for bonding with friends.
