View Full Version : Sex Before Puberty???

Alright, so my question relates to sexual intercourse before puberty.

When a pre-pubescent girl (I.E.- a 13 year old who still hasn't menstruated) has sex with an older boy (who is pubescent, but still close in age by a few years), what are the possible reciprocations???

Can this cause psychological damage even if it was consensual sex??? Also, assuming there was little to no physical damage, what about hormonal effects??? (I'm asking about this because I know that sex releases certain hormones in our bodies, and was wondering if it could possibly disrupt our growth and development to have sex at an early age.)

******************DISCLAIMER*********************
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT I DO NOT PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE, CONDONE, APPROVE OF, OR SUGGEST HAVING SEX, ESPECIALLY BEFORE THE LEGAL AGE WHERE YOU ARE. I ONLY ASK THIS AS A SERIOUS QUESTION FOR SERIOUS REASONS THAT I WILL NOT SHARE WITH YOU FOR THE TIME BEING AS IT MAY AFFECT THE PERSON IT CONCERNS.

NO LECTURES PLEASE. ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS AND EDUCATED ANSWERS.

Thank You!!! :D

I doubt that it would cause damage as long as it was totally concensual and he wasn't too big for her.

They are not mentally, physically, or emotionally ready to have sex yet so i will suggest waiting untill you are ready so i suggest waiting till after 16 since it seems that the girl is starting puberty late

Yes, it could definitely cause psychological damage, even if it was consensual. As for the hormonal issue, I highly doubt it. The hormones released during sex don't remain in the bloodstream long enough to have a lasting effect on growth and development.

A 13 year old girl should not be having sex at all. Masturbation is safe enough.

Even if it's consensual doesn't mean that harm can't be done, and it doesn't really matter what size his penis is, a penis is a penis.

Back to the original question;

Well assuming the girl hasn't started her period, she won't get pregnant so that's a positive thing, not that there is much positive in the scenario. The only real problems that'll be caused is the psychological damage as well as emotional. No one at that age really knows the consequences of their actions and so when they are in a relationship, they'll probably remember what happened years ago. It disturb or disrupt growth or anything like that, the hormone won't affect anything. You can still get an sti/std if protection isn't used, which is the other problem associated with sex regardless of puberty.

Everyone is different - some may be fine, others ruined.
In general that's just too young, I don't care if your boyfriend is the prophet Mohammed - you shouldn't do it with a prepubescant

This is exactly what I was thinking.

She'll most likely be disappointed for the rest of her life wishing she waited or when she meets the perfect guy she'd wish she saved herself for him.

i'm going to have to disagree. it can actually cause a lot of mental distress to a girl if she has sex before puberty. my brother actually got in alot of trouble because he and his girlfriend at the time were both underage when they had sex, and she ended up having a mental breakdown and became suicidal because of the incident.

whats the rush, the world isn't likely to end if she doesn't wait a bit

I liked that prophet mohammed comment - as a middle aged man he had sex with his prepubescent wife (9 year old - they say she had her period and therefore was a woman but it's so doubtful) - it's disgusting that millions of people idolize such a monster
