Okay there are some things that kinda get to me that I want to voice.
1. I know that this has been brought up many times but why cant we have more that 8 lines in our siggy. Becuase I THINK that Govteen has more than 8 lines. Could we possibly have more if we have over a certain number of posts or something. Also I know that we dont want the site cluddered wuth sigs.
2. Can we make a rule that if out posts are for some reason deleted we get notification for it. Like a PM that says you post has been deleted becuase of this and that. Because if my posts were deleted I never know about it and it makes me really mad becuase I think im going crazy. So yeah Admins please think about those.
THANKS EVERYONE!

1) We can now have 10 lines in our signature and have a limit of 600 characters, including BB code. We complained to the administration and we got it - let's not screw ourselfs and ask for more :P
Also, my sig is huge and I think that this is a good limit, because if it were any bigger it would be a burden
2) The moderators should take charge of telling you such things if they were a problem. If they were deleted, it's no big and I just let it brush by me. Edit - I also agree with Anthony below. Posts are deleted for a reason and if you follow the forum rules you won't have any problem with having your posts deleted.
No offense, but that's my opinion on it :D

I only delete posts if they're:
1. Spam
2. Off-topic
3. Rude and unhelpful
As long as you don't spam, get threads off topic, and make rude comments your posts won't be deleted. I try to make a quick note of what I moderate but Puberty101 can be chaotic at times and I may miss it or skip by accident.
As long as you behave you won't have this problem but be rest assured the moderators do their best to make sure members know they're breaking the rules.

Ant and Zach I understand that but sometimes I am not paying attention and just go ranting on in conversation because thats my personality. I talk ALOT! And I think its great that you guys are doing such good jobs with keeping the forums clean but its kinda annoying when you post something and go back to see if someone replied but its not there anymore and youre sitting there goin WTF happened???? Am I f-ing stupid or somethin? And I dont mind if my posts are deleted I just want to know that it was to prevent myself from makeing another post asking if it was or PMing all of the mods asking if it was. And I never knew that our siggys were extended! So thanks zach!

Yeah, it must seem a little weird :P If a mod deletes your post and half of it was on topic, they should of just edited it instead. In some cases, they should PM you. But I've gotten some of my posts deleted and they were off topic, and I felt sort-of strange about it, but I feel like if the whole post is off-topic then maybe it should be deleted! :P
So I don't get many posts deleted because I try to stay on topic. That's where the problem is - and if it keeps happening, then I think you should consider changing the content of your posts.

No you're not stupid. and I had a quick look of your posts and few have been deleted. So I think you're exaggerating a bit when you make it seem like it's some massive problem your posts are being deleted constantly without warning. I have explained to you in PMs about a post or two being deleted so I don't see what the major problem is. Any that I deleted of you are not because you "talk a lot" its because they're rude, spam, and/or off-topic.
You have very well been explained by PM me of what's acceptable and I believe Andy explained to you in another thread. Perhaps you missed them but they are there.
Actually now I'm reading through your post history and I deleted a few posts:
1 incident you posted in every thread a banned spammer posted making comments like "wow, you're on a roll tonight" and "your like the funniest person ever!!!!!!" I figured it would be obvious they were deleted because they were just encouraging a spammer and were deleted along with the spammers post.

Well I dont think that its a huge problem I just thought I should add that while I was makeing the thread. I did not start this thread becuase it just happened like 5 mins ago. I just think that it would be nice. And yeah like I said I really wasnt paying attention and I do admit that I was following the spammer and I reported all the posts to the mods. Also the PMs we had just said why it was deleted and all that crap becuase I was told to report questions to yall. And I did. That was all that was discussed or explained in the PMs and threads. How I should go about handling the situation. Also that was the first time that happened to me. I had no idea what to do or what the hell was goin on. But thats not the immediate point. All I would like to happen is if post were deleted where you were actually in conversation (even if it was off topic) for someone to let you know so youre not wondering. Its just one small thing that would make VT an easier place to be. Its just a suggestion. Im babbling. So im stopping

And moderators do. You have one incident when you weren't notifed and you make it seem like it happens all the time. That was just an isolated case. You weren't notified right away but later you were.
The moderators are doing their job and do let members know when moderators do moderating actions. What I don't like is that you take one incident you weren't notified immeadiately and turned it into as if your posts are being deleted and we don't tell you as if its a constant thing.
So to address your suggestion, we do notify members when stuff is deleted. I'm sorry that I forgot to PM you about that one incident where a post was deleted and you weren't notified straight after.
Like I said, PM a moderator if you're unsure if something happened in the forum, but we do our best to notify people of what's being moderated. You've heard a lot from me in the past so you know its being done.

Basically, everytime you post, you submit content to these forums. Now just like any other submission, your posts may be denied or approved. To let things slide much more fluidly than a 1000+ user queue, there's no middle man to deny or approve them between the time you post and the time your post shows up in the forums. However, content that is posted is reviewed at a later time and that is when we decide to keep it or not. If it's not kept, it's for a reason. Forum administrators and moderators may not have the time to inform you of posts that were deleted. I appologize, but this suggestion will never be a rule within our staff - a guideline, sure, but not a rule.
The signatures have enough space as is. I believe that users with above 2,500 posts may use up to 10 lines, which is over-doing it, but those users have been browsing the forums for at least 6 months and should know how to hangle their signature - if not, privileges will be reduced accordingly.
I've said this time and time again... Signatures should not be something that contains a large amount of content and pictures. Maybe a few pictures and some lines to describe the person (maybe a quote or something like it). There's not reason to go get 5 userbars for your signature, then put a couple quotes, then have something about what you like, and then have what shoe size you are. Granted that not every member does that, but there's no reason to have more than 8 lines. My signature has suited me for a long time. It's only been slightly modified since the beginning, but otherwise it's been like that for years, and it's only 6 lines. Think about your signature and what it represents before you think that you need more lines.

You weren't notified right away but later you were.
To be quite frank. I do not think that I was notified. I searched my PMs and I always keep my important ones and I have NEVER recieved a PM randomly from a mod unless I inquired first. I think that I was "Notified" when I inquired about it. I understand that you forgot but I never knew that mods actually did that. I NEVER EVER EVER EVER knew that mods contacted you when a post was deleted. Becuase its only happened a few times and I was never contacted in any situation unless I did inquire first. So I guess my question was answered in a way when you mentioned
So to address your suggestion, we do notify members when stuff is deleted.
So thanks for clearing that up!
And about the siggy thing I never knew that it was exteneded so you dont have to address me about that anymore. Also in the past my siggys have been relativley short and I usually try to paraphrase them and got straight to the point. The only problem that I have is that I dont have enough space to make them "look pretty". To avoid further discussion about my already answered questions I would like this thread to end up :locked: in some way! Thanks for everyones help and I'm sorry for the inconvinence and bringing my sorry ass suggestions that always end up as questions or something to yall! Soo...
Good-Bye
