so I finally talked to my mom..

I had wanted to talk to my mom for a while about seeing my dad more (I see him every other weekend and a month during the summer) when I turn 16...although they do not get along very well she understood what I was wanting and she dad and I got together and we came up with a plan. When I turn 16 here in a couple weeks and get my car I will start living with dad for three months and mom for three months back and forth...and when I turn 18 I can decide what I want to do about living arrangements.... I was so happy that we could figure something out

Wow that's one big change, I'm glad you're happy about it though, that's the main thing and it's what your parents would want. Congratulations for building up the courage to tell her, everything worked out for the best though.

only reason I have to wait until I get my driver's license is because daddy lives on the other side of town and during school I'll have to drive myself back and forth....and yes I love my daddy I couldnt imagine life without him

So glad that you get the chance to create a good relationship with both of your parents. My dads choices were the worst ever, where I don't want to talk or see him at all. Right now I don't even know where he is. It's hard, and I have been living like this since second grade, but it builds me up when I become a dad and know right from wrong in parenting.

That's so cool. Really happy for you :) and if you have your own car and miss mum .or ad you can always visit them easily.
