I had to get a sports physical recently im 14 years old and male. So im questioning if this is normal compared to your experiences. I had a female doctor up until the private area part. Then a male came in, well usually my mom would leave the room and stuff but this time she wasn't allowed to. It was awkward cause the last time she saw my penis i wasn't developed now its grown and has hair so that was awkward. Then to make it even worse i got a boner because you know im standing there naked in front of a the female doctor, my mom and the other doctor. It was really awkward and im afraid she is going to say something about it. About my size or my hair or the boner.

I wouldn't worry about it, it probably happens to most people, your mum will have already know that you have started puberty and she knows what happens down there during that stage of life. So don't worry about it.

Sound wierd to me man. I have been in sports since I was 12 and my parnets never had to go in the exam room when I had a physical and I have had a lot of them. Other than that seems like a normal one I have only had 2 times when a female started and male ended the exam mostly its always just a male doc.

I would be outraged, your mom shouldn't have to be in there with you. That is extremely inappropriate. The male doctor, could understand, that is usual.

Your mom could've asked the doctor to let her stay wthout you knowing. Not sure, but its possible.

I could say that that was a normal check up btw i havent gotten a boner at any of my check ups (even though my doctors a female) i try to consentrate really hard:cool:
