I understand what it means to be gay, straight, bisexual and that it is more than just sexual attraction it has more to do with the emotional connection and what not. So with that being said, I identify as straight as I have a sexual & emotional connection to girls but gay porn, (how I came about watching gay porn is a very long, round-a-bout, traumatic story), can get me turned on quicker than straight porn. Straight porn still arouses me but it seems to take longer, maybe by a few minutes. I know that porn does not determine your sexuality either! Normally, in the real world, men don't turn me on. At all. Occasionally, I will see a bulge in one of my class mates gym shorts and I obviously look! I know that's normal curiosity. But I don't get aroused by that at all. Yet, I have a very close mate of mine and we pretend to be gay with each other! It isn't as incriminating as it sounds, hahaaha, all of our school mates know it's in good fun as neither of us are gay. But sometimes when we joke around like that I will get an erection!! But if it were me doing that with any random girl I wouldn't get one. But when I was with my ex girlfriend just putting my arm around her would cause me to pop wood!
The reason I post this in Puberty 101 is because I believe that it may have something do with hormones and what not which is why I chose this section over Teen Sexuality! I still find woman arousing and I will often stare at their chests and butts etc. the usual things! (Again, I stress I know that is not an indication of sexuality) I'm 90% sure I would NEVER date, kiss, marry, live with a guy in like a committed relationship. I'm not about that at all.
I know this thread is kind of sloppy and all over the place, but I'm just looking for some friendly re-assurance! Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!
