I go jogging, swimming, ride my bike, hang out with friends, read outside. You could also mow yards for people to earn some extra money too.

If you're anything like me, you could find some place to volunteer your time and help combat an issue or just be there as a helping hand (I sound like an old man, lol).

As someone else said, you could mow peoples' lawns or babysit for some extra cash (and who doesn't want some extra cash???).

Or you could just invite some friends over and just... chill. Like seriously, just sit around, drink some sodas, listen to music, chat, sunbathe.. Chill. It is the summertime, after all!

yeah chill :/ unfortunately for me I can't do any fun stuff because of my parents. summer means studying and preparing for next year according to them. no games, no fun, nothing.

but that's for me. as for what you should do, what everyone else said. hangout with your friends, go outside, videogames etc

I decided that when I pass my last exam for this semester (it will happen on the 22nd of June) I will go to aqua-park. If you have one in your area, I will recommend this. Of course it depends on your interests. I like water and fun so it's my choice.
And also I decided to improve some skills during the time out from school. Really great idea if you wanted to do anything for a long time and haven't started yet (or wanted to learn how to do it).

also it could be fun to start a project for a summer.

maybe find a job?

Parties. That is all you need.

But if you aren't the party type then maybe you could write a list of things you've always wanted to do and work your way through. Just spend time with family and friends that's all you need to do. Perhaps you could go away or out for the day.

one word.

Kites.

buy one and have fun, or even better go to your local hobby store and purchase the neccesary items to build your own! get your friends into it and have contests!

>_> be careful with this next step <_<

um me and my friends build cheap kites and duel with them. sometimes we bash them together and the last one flying wins, or we attach razors to the edges of the kites and try and cut the other's kite string...very dangerous when picking them up or when they come down so do this in wide open areas and (emphasis) CAREFULLY!!!!!!

Bike ride downtown like a maniac scaring the shit out of the people at restaurants eating outside until the cops stop you.

Yeah I nearly got stopped for the above about 30minutes ago.

Worth every second.

Read a book, write, go to a party, go swimming, or get a job. There's a lot more to do. It's the summer.

If you have trails near your house, or a huge park, go with your friends and adventure with them there. If not, then do some classic games with your friends like neighborhood hide and seek. It may sounds childish, but we all know that game is fun, especially when you have the whole neighborhood to hide. And if you can't be with your friends, try and find a new talent or hobby. Something to get your mind off the computer and tv!

So here are a few things to do besides sitting on the couch:
- Call friends over and do whatever
- Go outside and play soccer or something with friends
- Buy a hacky sack and do tricks with it (my personal fav)
- Jump rope
- Go swimming
- Ride a bike in the park or on local trails
- Hang out downtown
- Collect things
- Take nature walks
- Go to the movie theater with friends
- Search hobbies and find one that suits you
- Take up learning a language - it will pay off in the future

OK, so yes I know, all of these may not be fun to you... but I don't know what you like and you should know what you like to do. So use that to your advantage and just go do something. Remember, if you don't like being bored then don't be. Simple as that but people just make it more complicated ;)

Lol, I go on VT.

Other than that, I dance and run (running's a new thing.)
You could always do that thing that you've wanted to do for a while. Learn a language. Paint. Something new!

Read books, just discovered the young adult section of my library haha.
Other than that, playing the trumpet, writing a journal, going to swim, and just chatting with friends.
I also have yard work that I have to do, and am trying to find some place to volunteer at.

Volunteering is really good, not just cause it looks good. Most places will accept free work even if you have few qualifications.
You get experience easily that way, so when it's time to apply for a paying job (a more competitive position) ,then you'll be able to say you have experience in a work environment.

Meet new people. Have a summer fling. Go see a movie that looks like It'll suck with a friend. Do weird things with your friends. God, just make memories.

We just find somewhere to generally just hang around, maybe go round someone's house and watch a bit of TV or play video games. Even if you're not really doing anything, being with your friends is the best no matter what you're doing!
