Have any of you guys used version of KDE for windows? I like Kubuntus looks but I hate that I can't have it in windows. is it worth installing? I can't afford to kill my laptop right now because it the only thing I have to use for entertainment right now... and if I do my mom is going to freak out on me. (it won't let me restore, it wants me to buy a new copy of windows.

It wants you to run a new copy of windows? Either it's incredibly outdated or counterfeited, so you should check that out.
It looks pretty good, I'll be installing this now, since there's stable builds of it I've got nothing to lose. Also I don't think it installs the looks, as I was on the site and it seems to be more about porting KDE apps than the GUI.

Woah, the apps are amazing! I'm using Amorak now, except...
AVG thinks it's a Trojan Horse.

I know how you feel, my OS thinks it was installed in 1969 XD (I run windows 7 btw) and I think it wont let me re install the OS because my sis seriously screwed up her recovery partition before I swapped hardrives with her (Her laptop is basicly dead now) I'll try it though, I have an hour of time to kill anyways :{D
