I'm not going to lie. SAAB hasn't made a good car since the 80's. Since then they've all just been crappy rebadged and overpriced GM products.

Ages ago... I have never liked them. They are built well, but they should have stuck to making buses and trucks (Scania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab-Scania)) and Aircraft.

SAAB is pretty shit of a modern car, and like the ace said up there, they ain't been good since the 80s and early 90s. One of the better manufacturers that went out was Saturn, they were one of the makes that were least in the shop. as unrealistic as it sounds its true. they were decently made.
I own a lincoln and an oldsmobile and I can say that even though I own american cars, its so hard fuckin with foreign cars because of the tools required and the placement of their parts on the vehicle almost make it a must to take it to the dealership to be fixed, as to where I can work on my car right outside my pad.

All the cars my dad has had since I was a baby, apart from one, has been a saab. It's kind of like the car i've grown up with. It's weird to know his current car will be his last saab.

Pontiac was shit
No, they aren't. My dad had a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, that was a damn good car, until som dumbass rear-ended him. And my mother had a 2001 Pontiac Montana that pasted a really long time. Both cars had over 135k miles on then, each. They were good to us. The reason why we had to get rid of the Montana was because it was old, and old cars get problems. We could've bought the parts, but the labor would've killed us. Pontiac isn't shit, although I will give you the Aztec was shit.

Saab makes Jet Planes for the Swedish Armed Forces. Their cars sucked.
