Seeing as your girlfriend is underage, I don't think that's legal/possible, unless she tries to self-abort which IS VERY DANGEROUS AND YOU SHOULD NOT TRY.
The best thing to do is break it to her parents and get them to help you out. There's a thread on teen pregnancy on VT, somewhere.
Sorry you're in this mess, try to be a little more careful next time.

In the UK 16 is legal btw
I think the best way would be to tell your parents but if you really dont maybe a trusted sibling or something? i think in the UK you can get confidential abortions im not sure

I recommend telling your parents. An abortion is dangerous. But mainly it can and will cause major emotional problems after it's all said and done with.

16 is legal in the UK....
As others have said, you can get an abortion without parental consent from the age of 14 in the UK. The way to go about it would be to go to your GP and explain the situation. Due to patient confidentiality, they can't tell your parents if you ask them not too.
As others have said, maybe it would be a good idea to tell your parents however I completely understand why you wouldn't want too. Don't force your girlfriend into an abortion, it is going to have huge emotional effects on the both of you.
Good luck to both of you, I hope it all works out.

Why would you want to kill something that could one day be your child?
well as they're both 16 why would they want something that could be, quite clearly they arn't ready for a child at that age. nobody is at the age of 16 and a child that is born to such young parents wont have as good a life as someone born into a settled family.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but I think if you're big enough to have sex and mess up and get her pregnant, keep the baby. the only way I am supportive of abortion is if the girl is raped or molested.

you guys may be young but i dont think you should abort it
there are many families out there who would die to have children of their own but cant. what im saying is that you should consider adoption. it may be hard for you guys but her body is going to go through hell following an abortion and may i ask. if you guys didnt want ids at your ages why did you chance unsafe sex??

Well, your opinion has nothing to do with the OP's question. Take your opinions to Ramblings of the Wise..
You should tell her parents eventually just to be honest with them, and if you decided to keep it, they will notice fairly quickly.

Please help the OP, don't throw your opinions around in a rude manner in a way to hurt the OP.

I know someone that once got herself pregnant when she was 13 and had an abortion and never told her mum or sister. If I was you I would go with your girlfriend and see a doctor and just see what they have to say. They wont tell your mum if you dont want them to because their not allowed to under the patient confidentiality law. Thing is if you are both 16 and nothing was untoward then it is fine because your both under the age of concent. I have noticed you are from the UK so just go and call in at a building that says NHS on it and ask them, even if its not a doctors that you call in at they will still be able to point you in the right direction :D... oh pps. dont try and do it yourselves because you could harm the poor lass. Depending on how far gone she is they will just give her some pills.
