Guys who Hang Out Girls More than Guys

Im a Straight Guy who hangs out with girls and has more friends that are Girls more than guys. All of my close friends are Girls, and most of the people I text are girls. I mean, I have friends that are guys but we are not close friends. We are just friends who talk at school and thats really it, and some of them I text with but not many. Ever since I was little, my first best friend was a girl. Its just, most of the guys at my school and where I live are total jerks. Then my few guy friends are pretty cool, but we dont hang out after school or text. All of my friends who are girls are the ones who I text and hang out with because we have so much in common and they are really cool, they can understand the stuff I go through, and we are all crazy and have so much fun. Its just, I never really had a close guy friend to do and talk about guy stuff with. It really doesnt bother me that much, but sometimes I wished I had a close guy friend.
Is there anyone out there that is like this, if so then give your story.

I'm exactly like that with my friends personally I think girls are more responsible than a lot of guys my age and they are a lot easier and nicer to talk to about anything there is nothing really bad about it. I have only been judged by random strangers about hanging out with girls and that was in newyork. Trust me a lot of guys hang out with girls and not guys you are right a lot of guys are just jerks

I also have more female friends than guy friends, but for me when I went into highscool alot of the people from my middle school also came to my highschool (there was like 12 ppl in my 8th grade class). All of them were girls. So instead attempting to branch out and make new friends cause i was just that shy, i hung around them cause i knew them very well. I actually yearn for guy friends, but alot of the guys don't really want to befriend me cause they already have this notion in their heads that "Oh he only hangs out with girls", "He must be gay if he only sits by them".
I've had guy friends in the past, but when we grow up people obviously change. Such as one guy that i was cool with. Over the years hes become more of jerk and common interests between us have drifted away.

So yea I understand how you might feel.

I'm not sure but maybe you can try to hang out with one of your cool friends. Maybe you will become better friends with one of them and this way you'll find a guy to talk about the stuff that bothers you.

I hang out with girls alot too, there's nothing wrong with that. Althoigh my gf gets a little jealous haha :)

I know what you mean... I don't really have a lot of close friends, but if I did, most of them would be girls... I can just feel like I can trust them better... Out of my friends I text about 2 or 3 guy friends (1 of them about serious stuff and the others very casual, mainly about Sport and stuff)
But I text quite a lot of girls and talk to them about stuff... Again, nothing too personal cos we are not that close ( :( ) but I prefer talking to them... Sometimes at breaks at school I hang out with girls too and I am 100% straight!

I meant like movies, book series, pop culture stuff, and we are all crazy and weird in our own way and we are not afraid to show it.

Im the same, although im a girl, I have a lot of guy friends, I have girl mates to, but I dont get along with them as much as my guy friends :)

I know what you mean. I want a guy friend too. No not because I want to hook up with him, but because I've h hung with girls a lot and it would be cool to hang with guys who like call of duty or paintball and stuff.

I'm in the opposite boat to you, my best mates are all dudes and now I've moved the guys won't be friends with me because they think I fancy them or whatever, so iv had to make friends with the girls, it bores me to death half of them, I prefer having male friends because I feel comfortable and safe and we have a laugh.

Well if you want to have more guy friends, how bout try hanging out more with the guy friends you do have. Then most likely they could introduce you to more guys. All you have to do is get out of your comfort zone and adjust a little, I did it and now I got even amount of friends gender wise. And if the guy is a jerk, then both of you make a flaw and good chart about each other, and each go down the list in person and tell them. They will then want to fix up as a person. That's what I'm doing with my best guy friend.

i was the same way growing up and i still hang out with a lot of girls. i have a lot of close guy friends too though. the trick is to find the balance. for when i want common sense or want to go shopping, i hang out with girls. if i want to go do some crazy stuff or play basketball or something, i'll go to my guy friends. although lately i've been leaning more towards guy friends since i apparently accidentally led on a few of my friends who were girls and now they're pissed haha

OK I guess because I'm gay I have a different view but my best friend is a girl...always has been ....I'm a jock tho and have some good guy friends, but she is easier to talk to about a lot of things that I can't with the guys I hang with....a lot of the guys feel because I'm gay the girls rather hang with me, but I think that is a stereotype....you just hang with those that you feel most comfortable with...male or female...

You're exactly like me, pretty much all my friends are girls, I do have a few guys that I talk to on occasion, but I mainly talk to and hang out with just girls. It does suck sometimes cause every once in a while they bring drama into you, but not that often (at least for me). But it's nice to know I'm not the only one.

i was like that last year but it was kind of like a phase for me, i realised i was pushing away all of my guy riends to hang out with girls wich was good beceasuse girls like love me lol but then i realised it might be weird and if i was around girls all the time i would try like gay. not like theres anything wrong with gay people but i like girls lol.

Yeah I'm on the same boat as you here, I have one guy best friend who I'm with all the time the rest who I socialise with are girls but we hang around in one big group. Most guys where I live are big headed twats who seem to think there 'it'. Now it's a very large varied group which I prefer, but in the end it doesn't bother me either way.
