I guess this is the right place to post this.
I updated iPhoto on my Mac Book Pro but it won't open. It says that I need to update my OS. To update my OS there is a $30 fee. I sort of don't want to pay that because usually there aren't that many differences between updates. Is there any way I can degrade iPhoto, turn it back to the old version?

Updating doesn't charge. If you're talking about upGRADING then there is a difference, you'll be installing an up-to-date more later version of Mac OS X, and it would be able to install other updates of software. It's only $30 anyway, if I bought a Mac it would be something I would expect.
Next time you update, there is usually information in the description box below which tend to outline what requirements you may need.
What version of Mac OS X are you running now? 10.x.x

I mean upgrading... I'm not updating. I am currently using OS X 10.7.3. Do you think it is worth upgrading?

You're using 10.7.3, but iPhoto requires 10.7.3? Should work.

Mac has a larger ISO than windows which is ridiculous but I've never tried mac so I don't know, I'll download a ISO and check that using Virtualbox :)
