I really need help getting motivated to do anything, specifically school stuff, i just cant do it unless its due in for like... the next day.
I know in later years i wont be able to do it like this but i just can never seem to get motivated to do homework, school work, anything really- im just so lazy.
Any advice on how to get myself motivated?

Im not failing classes or anything, i'm just stupidly unorganized and last minute, i think its because i'm naturally fairly clever and so i've never had to try before in school, now im in year 11 and am doing my GCSE exams i actually do and i cant seem to be able to :/

Are you talking about revision or just work in general?

Well for both, if you just work hard for a couple of weeks it will probably end up with you getting good grades and, after that you can enjoy summer

I used to be like this I averaged As without revision in my gcses and whilst yes that's pretty good I really did regret it later on, I realised I could have done better.

Once you reach A level you'll realise that naturally clever or not that attitude isn't going to cut it anymore I had that attitude at the start and had to put it so much work at the end of the year to make up for it. I've found it a lot easier now I've looked into uni courses and grades, I know its a way off for you but maybe by looking at the grades you need it will motivate you into doing the work and getting As and above. That's all I can think of though.

I would try to get into a rutine of doing something and telling myself that I can. Listening to music take wkes me up, calms me down, and energizes me helps too. I also like to listen to speakers and philosophers to help motivate me. You should try some of these, and good luck on your exams :D

im exactly the same way ;) what i did to get more organized was to read up on my most influential role models, all of whom worked incredibly hard and set high goals and standards for themselves. That re-inspired me and helped me organize my thought and become motivated.
