View Full Version : Do you think a really "jock" girl could beat up a boy?

So there's this really sporty redhead Stephanie in a bunch of my classes (she's capt of girls basketball and play on the volleyball & track teams too). Right before French class this past Friday, she thought my knee brushed up against her butt, and she got up and threatened to beat me up in front of the whole class. Everyone's saying I should be worried because she's such a "jock" and I'm more of a "nerd" and have never been in a fight. My friends also say girls always fight dirty, and she will prob kick me in the balls ( :\ gulp). I'm not so sure I should be worried; I've never heard of a girl beating up a boy, but I figured I would ask...
1) Why do you think Stephanie did that to me? Why would she think she could beat me up?
2) Do you think she really could beat me up? Why / why not?
3) Girls, do any of you think you could beat up a 5'10 "nerdy" guy like me? why / why not?

She probably did that because she thought she was being sexually harassed. And she would probably think she could beat you up because she's tough and does have the upper hand: like you said, she can go for the balls. You don't have that opportunity.
Next, I definitely think she could. It's kind of sexist to think otherwise: she's a jock, you're (as you say) a "nerd." When was the last time you heard of a jock being unable to beat up a nerd?
Last but not least, I reckon I could take you, but only thanks to my martial arts and streetfighting background.

So you think you could beat me up? What grade are you in, and how big (ht/wt) are you? Also, what's your martial arts & streetfighting background?

I think that any girl is capable of beating a guy up, do they? Probably not, and it doesn't even matter if you don't have a 'background'. I don't personally, but if I wanted to, I could.

If you wanted to you could what? Also, mind answering questions 1, 2 & 3 above?

I could beat you up.
1) She genuinely thought you touched her butt, so naturally got defensive.
2) Anyone can beat anyone up.
3) Same applies to my previous answer.

Has there ever been a girl vs boy fight at your school? What happened?

1) Why do you think Stephanie did that to me? Why would she think she could beat me up? She thought you did it intentionally & thought she was being sexually harassed.
2) Do you think she really could beat me up? Why / why not? Yes, any girl can, my friend who isn't very jocky, but is country, beat the shit out of some kid & had him put in the hospital.
3) Girls, do any of you think you could beat up a 5'10 "nerdy" guy like me? why / why not? Any girl could beat any guy up, honestly because they are just as bad as the boys.

The tits hurt much more than the vagina, just as a tip.

xD.
Well I think maybe you should try to talk to her and sort things out lol. Sounds stupid, but I think I could do it if i needed to. If a girl threw punches at me, I wouldn't hit back. I guess I'd have to take them like a man lol.

dont stress so much, if she still bothers you about it just tell her the truth about what happened.

Anybody can always beat up someone else. The fact that she's a girl doesn't matter, if she's strong and she's got the guts, she could do it.
What I don't understand is why you're making such a big deal out of it. Is your pride wounded by being threatened by someone without a dick? If so, I recommend that you get over it and just move on. It doesn't take this much mulling over.

...Not that these answers aren't helpful, in the event you DO get in a fight, but have you thought once about explaining what happened and settling things?
Your balls are at stake here...would'nt you want to protect them rather than put them in a position of possible harm anyway?

Anyone with the proper training is capable of beating someone up without training.
My parents made sure I took several martial arts after I was sexually harassed... I could (and have had to) beat up guys before.

Wow - you've really beat up a guy? What happened? Did he fight back?

Not all guys are tough. And not all girls are pussies. I think you have a sexist mindset from the way you reply to the other posts. If the girl tries to fight you, you should try to hold her down or something to not hit her, if you have the chance to do that. That's what I'd do anyway.

Well i certainly wouldnt want a guy brushing up against me (she prob though it was on purpose.
And she probably said that because she is strong and a tomboy and usually...those kind of girls can beat up less strong guys.
I think i could beat up many guys because
1. I'm exactly like her, i am captain of my bball team etc. And i am stronger thank usual, i have a 6 pack, i work out and well iv gotten into several foghts with guys and girls and i watched a video someone took and it looked like i was a boxer and good too (i grew up with a brother who beat me up so i learned to fight pretty damn well)
But dont worry about it the first time shes DEFFINATLY bluffing the second time she threatens you you might want to watch yourself and the third time there wont be a warning.

I think that this girl could be a threat but only if she keeps it up. I would be a little bit worried about the fact that she probably could beat you up. I say this because I beat up a guy two years older than me and have beat up people my age and the only sport I play is volleyball. Just watch your back and avoid her if you'd like or apologize
