Summer is pretty much here, and I was curious if I should wear a bikini at the pool or not..
I'm 5'1 and I want to say I'm 135-140lbs. I know my weight isn't "healthy" and my plan is to work out a lot more this summer, but I kind of want to wear a bikini, but at the same time I don't.
Opinions..?
My apologies if this shouldn't go here. :whoops:

Im 5'6 and 105 maybe 110 but I'd say your okay. So go for it.
btw i wouldnt say "work out" probably running is a better term. working out means muscle which doesnt decrease weight

Wear one if you want to! Judging by the fact that you have to ask, I'd say that you're maybe a little too insecure to do that, but summer lasts a long time, so maybe just play it by ear?
Also,
working out means muscle which doesnt decrease weight
This is true to an extent, but adding to your lean muscle mass does increase your metabolism, which burns more fat. So go for it :)

You really shouldn't give a rat's ass what anyone says about your weight. That might sound politically incOrrect, but you're a person, do what you want to do. If you want to wear a bikini, do it. If you don't want to, then don't let anybody pressure you into wearing what you don't want to. Good luck!

Sarah, I've (and I'm sure you have, too) seen many girls bigger than you in bikinis...and the world didn't fall off its axis because of it. :)
If you want to wear one, then go for it! You decide what to wear based on what you're comfortable with...

You can wear a bikini. You look beautiful in your profile pick. You don't need to worry about anything.
