If he wants to go out at night, I'd be checking on who it is and where they're going. If it's too late then I would be less willing of letting him out. Especially if I live in a weird neighborhood or something around that. It's his life, but I wouldn't let him do what ever he wants that might involve him getting hurt or affecting something important.
3. Put some stuff down about what you would/would not allow your son to do: Obviously I would not let him get involved in drugs, but I can't be on his shoulder every second of his life. If it was weed, I wouldn't freak out so much on this one. He should be polite and respectful to everyone. I don't really know what else to put down at the moment. But I think I'd have him not do things that are obviously seen as bad by society, but maybe give freedoms on some stuff.
